When the snow melts and the ground becomes soft a 90 minute walk Saturday morning yields not only a healthy glow to the rest of the day but also this...
Which requires 30 minutes in the shower...
One hour fluff drying (Shop Vac set to "blow")Followed by 40 minutes or so of brushing out mats and just like that...We have a clean creamy white poodle patiently waiting and ready to go for the afternoon walk!
I need to find a mud free route while things dry up a bit around here!

Wow! He's a muddy mess! lol That must be quite a walk! And, wow...that's a lot of work to get him all cleaned up and white again. That could get old really quick. I agree, a cleaner route might be nicer. :-)
If only you could put a coat on him, one with legs I guess...
Are you sure he's not caramel coloured?
Yes, but if mud is the only reason to not be excited about the warmer weather... a 90 minute walk?! That's impressive!
Oh my Goodness, Hudson - 30 MINUTES doing the horrible Bath Thing???!!! I'd have nightmares for weeks!!! And then the Vacuum Monster too??
You are an awfully patient doggie!!
My human says that this is one of the reasons she chose a Great Dane - coz we are "wash-n-wear" doggies - hee! hee! Even when we get really muddy, the mud just falls off our coats when it dries and even if we need a bath, we dry off in 10mins just running around coz we only have a very short, single coat. But it does mean that we really feel the cold!! :-)
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
ps. please say thank you to your human for all the lovely comments she leaves on my blog! We always love hearing her thoughts on things!
