Who Cares About the Calendar?

Check out the time on the clock...(that's 5:30 p.m.!)
Check out the light still outside! Violet there has obviously been aware for some time now of what the calendar frankly always misses at this time of year...I don't care what the official start date is or whether there still is snow on the ground around here...the arrival of spring is well underway!

    You do have an advantage this time of year being more northern in that you get the increasing light longer than us Oregonians; I'm jealous!

    Yeah, spring is definitely on its’ way, I found out about the longer days, too, at least when the sky is clear. And last week I even saw a hint of dark blue instead of black black in the eastern sky when I left home for work. But this weekend snow again, a cold wind and temps down to 5°C this morning.
